Mouse Control Lincoln

Lincoln City Council no longer provides a mouse control service in Lincoln. This has unfortunately led to an increase in the number of mice infestations in properties across Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

Mice can breed very quickly indeed, so it is essential that if an issue arises it is dealt with as quickly as possible. Just two baby mice can multiply into over 100,000 mice under optimal conditions in just one year: that’s a hell of a lot of mice!

If you need mouse poison in Newark, or anywhere else in Lincolnshire, then call us. We also service a number of towns just over the county border, so if you need mouse poison in Peterborough or Doncaster, for example, we can still help you.

There are a number of things you can look out for if you suspect you might have mice:

  • Live mice. It seems obvious, but if you see live mice running around at night or if you can hear scratching in wall spaces or under floors, then this is a good sign there is a problem.
  • Smear marks. Mice have oily fur and can leave smear marks on walls where they run along.
  • Mice droppings are another tell-tale sign there could be a problem. These are small pellets around 3mm long.
  • Chewed up paper, cloth, or other materials. Mice use these materials to make their nests.

Mice carry all sorts of deadly disease so it’s always a good idea just to give us a call if you suspect anything at all. We have a team of specialist mouse control technicians in Lincoln that are on hand. Call us on 01522 898247.

Mice Facts

  • • When there is a heavy infestation, mice create something called urine pillars, which are a combination of body grease, urine, and faeces
  • • Mice can also carry many pathogens that are transferable to humans such as Salmonella, Ringworm, Dermatitis, Leptospirosis, and Rickettsial Pox. Some diseases that mice carry, such as Weils Disease, can result in organ failure, internal bleeding, and death.
